Surf's Up
Printed on archival luster paper
I took this photo at the end of November 2022. The water was not quite frigid yet. As I approached Oak on the Lake Shore Path, I was excited to see that there were small waves. Once I was in the water the waves suddenly began rising up to be quite large. Luckily this was a rare day where the waves were big, but the undertow was really not present at all. These waves were a blast. I felt so grateful to be able to capture this day - especially because winter was lurking so closely around the corner.
